Barista

Full-Time / Part-Time

You love people and you love coffee. You'll be the first face guests see and the reason they come back. We use a proprietary Quartertone blend and A1 Pinnacle Matcha — you'll become an expert in both.

What You'll Do

  • Pull espresso shots with precision and consistency
  • Craft matcha, smoothies, and specialty drinks
  • Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar station
  • Learn and explain our sourcing and ingredients

What We're Looking For

  • Previous cafe or hospitality experience a plus
  • Warm personality with strong communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Available weekends and early mornings (7 AM starts)

Cafe Manager

Full-Time

You've got the hospitality instinct and the operational chops to match. You'll lead the front-of-house team, keep the experience consistently excellent, and work closely with ownership to help the cafe grow.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and schedule front-of-house and barista staff
  • Uphold brand and quality standards across every shift
  • Handle ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Train new hires and develop team members
  • Resolve guest concerns with calm and care
  • Work with founders on operations and improvements

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems and scheduling tools
  • Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Passion for food, coffee, and community

Line Cook

Full-Time / Part-Time

Behind every great plate is a great cook. You'll be part of a tight kitchen team executing our scratch-made menu — from croissant breakfast sandwiches to grain bowls. Speed, cleanliness, and care matter here.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare menu items to recipe spec and plating standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen station
  • Work efficiently during high-volume breakfast and lunch service
  • Assist with daily prep, mise en place, and ingredient handling
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams

What We're Looking For

  • Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work the 7 AM–4 PM shift
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Works well under pressure in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and consistency

Head Chef

Full-Time

This is a rare opportunity. We're looking for a chef who shares our obsession with quality to lead our kitchen, evolve our menu, and set the standard for what scratch-made means at Lyfe Cafe. This role works directly with the founders.

What You'll Do

  • Own the kitchen — execution, quality, and culture
  • Develop and refine seasonal menu items
  • Source and maintain premium ingredient standards
  • Hire, train, and develop line cook and prep staff
  • Manage food cost, waste, and kitchen efficiency
  • Partner with founders on menu direction and growth

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years as a chef or kitchen leader in a quality-driven restaurant
  • Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and build culture
  • Strong palate and eye for quality, plating, and consistency
  • Experience with scratch-made, ingredient-focused cooking
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you take ownership seriously
